The primary purpose of the "We Are All The Same Inside" line of books is to help young individuals discover the issues surrounding diversity (race, culture, religion, gender et al.) and at the same time teach young learners tolerance in an exciting multi-media format. Children need to be taught tolerance and acceptance of other cultures.
The target age for "We Are All The Same Inside" is 4 to 7 years. These children will be enthralled with characters that are colorful, dynamic, and geared to their imaginative interests. For the past several years, we've collaborated with young aspiring fine art students, museum educators, and school teachers at all levels, in many diverse disciplines.
Our objective was to show and to compare cultural diversity. We feel our company has succeeded by utilizing colorful media, and interactive toys which display our theme: "we are all the same inside". The T.I.M.M.-E. Company's authors, illustrators and art educators uniquely present tolerance to the young students. It is our goal these tools for tolerance create a healthier climate throughout the classroom and beyond.
