Rope is a unique material to work with, it brings so much richness of texture. I have begun to explore space, tension, color and depth with texture. I have only begun to scratch the surface of the material and its infinite possibilities. My dialogue with this material began over a decade ago in installations in nature.The unique aspects of the material and the strength of my intervention are in unity and define the artwork. My intervention in color is done with the old tradition of dyeing.
