Photography is both the easiest and the most difficult of all art forms. Striking images are out there for the selection but it is often too easy to be seduced. In my photographs, I am always looking for the unexpected and often overlooked image that conveys a specific mood. I am interested in recording transitory images that you might catch for a moment out of the corner of your eye.
Travel informs everything I do artistically. The photographs I’ve selected are from Paris, London and even New York where I am surprised by rare moments when a confluence of factors comes into play and creates a compelling image.
The process of how the eye and the brain select one composition out of
an infinite realm of possibilities fascinates me. I am always drawn to
images that convey an emotional resonance, and ultimately, illuminate the
human condition.
