With color, texture, rhythm and light, Valerie Margolis addresses themes of conjunction, boundaries, protection and vestiges. Her paintings, wall-sculptures and digital imagery are based in a personal, as well as Judeo-Christian iconography; and art-historical tradition. She has explored various imagery over the years, yet her work remains thematically cohesive.
