As I prepare to move from one city to the next I had to find a way to continue working minus a studio, a packable, flexible and moveable way of working so I have started what I call “THE PAPER CITY project”. The paper city is an ongoing project that attempts to express the more intangible aspects of the city.... a shadow, a corner, the edge of a building..... I am using paper because it can be packed, folded, stuffed in pockets and carried with me. So I begin my project with the end of my days in Mexico City back to what has been the source of my work for the last 3 years but now with the knowledge that soon it will be no more. This is a work in progress, all works are on paper.....
