After painting the human figure for a long time, in 2003 I turned to still life, concentrating on paintings of textile subjects, mostly clothing and bedding. The flexibility of the fluid shapes and the intimacy of the associations enrich the strictly formal impression and link this body of work to my earlier work.
Most recently, I've focused on the strategies of assembling still life subjects, exploring concentric relationships and structures of enclosure.
