My current work observes nature in it’s various states as
different seasons progress and ebb. I am most interested in visual chaos and
flux, dormancy and overgrowth within nature.I am inspired by the semi urban garden that I began
establishing two years ago in a yard that had been neglected for more than 20
years. The drama of plant life in untended settings has inspired a body of work
that is meant to express both the noxious and sublime that humbly co-exist in likely
and unlikely settings.
